Well, I’m a big fat liar. I didn’t sleep last night except for a little nap around 6pm, so I will no longer be making predictions about my sleep schedule here. “Not a long night” my ass.
After I woke up, ate, and did some administrative stuff, I did a little more work on spidermonkey, but spent most of my time hacking rulers into Achtung. It works fully except for a little problem with zooming out a lot. This is a limitation in GtkRuler, and I’ll probably end up subclassing it to fix the problem. By and large, though, it’s looking nice. Oh, thanks to Chris Lahey for some convenient insight.
Next up for me and Achtung is hacking in grid support. I’d like to take a look at PowerPoint 2000 to see how/if they do it, but alas, I don’t have a copy. If anyone has a screenshot they could send, please mail me.
Lastly, I spent most of the morning putting together a web page for myself and one for Achtung. I’ll try to get the latter up with screenshots and whatnot later this afternoon.
