• Woke up to the sound of contractors coming into my new apartment. I had slept on top of my sleeping bag with a pillow in one of the back bedrooms of my apartment. They had seemed rather confused to see that someone had rented the apartment for September, even though they were supposed to be done August 15.
  • Met up with Nat and Jacob at Cafe Algiers. Nat was not having a good day.
  • Drove around a -lot-. We went to Brighton, we went to Chestnut Hill, we went to Brookline, Boston, and Cambridge, oh my! Along the course of the day I got some new shoes and a curling bar. Jacob also got new shoes, and Nat also got a curling bar.
  • Called Vlad and Ian on their Drive Across America Tour. When I called they had just entered Ohio. That means that, along with a stop in Pittsburgh they could probably be here in something like 15 hours, by my estimate.
  • Hung out at the cave for a while. I guess I was there a pretty long time, but honestly I don’t think I got anything done, and the time seemed to fly by. I must say, though, that I really miss TiVo.
  • I’ve been in a really weird mood all day. Not a good one, either. I think it’s because I am a man without a home right now.
