Some stuff happened in the last week and a half, but as I am writing this from the future, I don’t remember some of it and am too lazy to elaborate on details. I was a bit of a dickhead to some people, so if you’re one of them (and you know who you are): I am sorry. If not, it’s none of your business, so go away. Sam rolled into town and lost his keys and was stranded for a few days after Delta lost (but later found) his spares that his friend shipped to him.

Happy 4th of July, by the way. Boston is always crazy with the Pops playing on the Esplanade. This year I didn’t make the trek down to the river after the instanity last year. Plus, I was pretending to be helpful for the BBQ we had at the Rag today. I ended up being the grillmaster, and after a round of some crispy-on-the-outside-bloody-and-disease-prone-on-the-inside burgers and sausages, the food turned out really well. We had burgers, italian sausages BBQed chicken, corn on the cob, potato salad, regular salad, cole slaw, a veggie platter, chips of both the potato and corn varieties, two cakes, and a whole watermelon. While most of it got eaten, there’s still tons of food left over. I’ll probably be grilling dinner for a long ass time. We had the concert on the TV and went up to the roof for the fireworks. Thanks to everyone who came and ate our food and brought stuff.

Sigh. Back to work tomorrow.

Dunno if I’ll be keeping an activity log much longer… my heart just isn’t in it and it’s not a great venue for stuff going on… I dunno. Maybe I’ll turn it into an essay thing, but that format seems even more self-righteous and tired than the vast majority of weblogs that are ubiquitous and unengaging. At least a lot of them have a personal edge to them, but that may just be because I am an outsider to their lives.
