we need to steal this

Back from Brainshare.

So apparently every year Novell gets a band to play exclusively to the Brainshare attendees. Last year I hear it was Styx. This year it was Sammy Hagar. After dinner a bunch of us went to check it out.

five thousand nerds rocking out

Not really my type of music, but it was fun.

utah has some weird cloud formations

Saturday I went to a Dave Brubeck concert. He’s 80-something and can still play the piano like nothing else. And his drummer had to have been at least 65 and is without a doubt the best drummer I have ever seen in my life. Apparently he had the flu and was “phoning it in” in the first half, but you couldn’t tell from the way he was playing. I’m very glad I went.

Last night I had dinner with Nat, Jimmy, Taylor, Anna and Erik at Bob the Chef’s. Afterward we went to Wally’s for jazz. What a great place.
