Sunday I went with Trow to the DNC protests on the Common. It was a pretty eclectic group of people, largely representing the extremely far left. Marxists, Haitian supporters of Aristide, supporters of Palestinian statehood, Veterans for Peace, advocates for the lifting of the Cuban embargo, and members of the school bus drivers union. But the one thing everyone had in common was an opposition to the war in Iraq.

To help save some of my bandwidth and not drive my RSS readers crazy, I have a lot more on the protests, including photos of a scuffle between left-wing radicals and an anti-abortion protester and all kinds of police presence!
I’ve been lazy and not put up the rest of the Ireland photos I’ve wanted to post. I’ll do that next week on a different page.
