… except me. My voice sounds so much better on tape than it does in my own head. But it’s not all perfect… I do seem to say “uhh” a lot.
Late last week I did an interview for LugRadio which is up now in which I talk about Beagle. Amazingly I didn’t even swear once, although it would have been apropos for the show… to put it lightly. I’m quite happy with how it went, but one thing I wish I had mentioned in response to the “can you live without it” question is my hope that someday the filesystem will become entirely an “implementation detail.” That is, the way that people access pretty much all their data is through search and to a lesser extent specialized browsing, rather than the filesystem tree hell we live in today.
