Christian: I am totally with you there. I had a similar experience (and followup) with AT&T Wireless (now a part of Cingular) about 2 years ago. Basically, I filed suit against them in small claims court for unfair business practices in Massachusetts and they relented. Since then I’ve made it my mission to get as many people as possible to boycott them and their shitty, abusive service.
I’ve since been on T-Mobile for nearly 2 years and have been very happy with them. The only downside is that the coverage isn’t that great outside cities, but I’m so rarely outside cities.
God, my blood pressure is high just thinking about this.
