Novell has a great support contract on its laptops. I called late on Friday about the fan problem (and also my incredibly dim screen) and they just finished fixing it about 20 minutes ago. That means that it took roughly six and a half business hours to fix. That’s some good service.
Anyway, as a result I now have access to my slides, the code I was writing on the plane home, and most importantly, my photos from the trip.
