Beagle has been showing up slowly around the place, but nowhere as impressively as Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 (SLED10). When they say “integrated” search at Novell, they really mean it.

Meanwhile, progress abounds. I’ve got the scheduler shutting down when on battery, now I just need to write a configuration option for it. Now that I can get to the code on my laptop again, the metadata store should hopefully be running fairly well by the end of the week, and could maybe be landed the following week. There are still a lot of tests to be run, however.
