travel ahead

24 May 2007

This should be a fun July. I’ll be attending LugRadio Live in Wolverhampton on the 7th and 8th and I’m looking forward to seeing folks like Ted, Jono, and Aq again. I’m not giving a talk there, but maybe I can think of a demo for a lightning or lightbulb or whatever short talk they have.

Then, I’m bumming around England for the next week. Lazyweb, if you have suggestions on places to go or things to see, please feel free to email me. I am an American and I am afraid of driving on the left side of the road, so places I can get to by walking, train, taxi, or bus are appreciated. I am definitely going to spend some time in London, and Nat suggests that the Cotswolds are quite nice, but any input would be lovely.

Last and certainly not least, I’ll be at GUADEC in Birmingham on the 15th through the 21st. I’ll be giving a talk on building a metadata desktop, which means that between now and then I should probably figure out how to build a metadata desktop.

On an unrelated note, Ben’s reCAPTCHA is so clever I wish I had thought of it.
