you can’t even buy a war for $12.2 billion

Well, that’s it. The Big Dig is over. It came in a little over budget, sure, but you need to keep things in perspective.

Last week Brette and I went to Chicago. Had a great time visiting with her sister and brother-in-law and trow. We went and saw a show at Second City and ate our way through town. When it was seriously cold we visited Andrew in Byron.

I had been once before during a school trip in high school, but the only thing I remember about it was the long ass bus ride and Ed Debevic’s. So this trip was more of a real experience.
